case don’t worry, because we’ll show you the ’’real’’ Rome and we’ll help
you to make the day by day planning in order to use at best your time and
enjoy at best your visit
without needing a guide.
We are very close to the Vatican (2 miles, you can go even walking as we do)
and to the Metro (Balduina Station, 5 stops to Spanish Steps, few minutes)
and to the Historical Center (Historical Center in Rome is very very wide
from Vatican to Colosseum), but in a residential area that is very quiet (in
the morning we hear the birds singing) and very, very safe (in front of us
lives the Governor of Latium); and in our 5 stars+ B&B the guests stay in a
very friendly italian family atmosphere. Our 5 stars+ BnB is in a wonderful
penthouse with big beautiful terraces with an astonishing panorama.
To confirm the reservation it’s enough that you send your credit card data
(type, holder’s name, number, expiry date, CRC a 3-4 check digit on the back
of the card); the data are only to guarantee the reservation, you’ll then
pay directly with cash at your checkin when your arrive; just in front of us
in any case there is a cash machine, atm; cancellation policy is 15 days
before arrival.

The rate is 40.00 euro per person per night,
breakfast taxes etc everything

Directions to reach us very easily from the FCO airport follow below (train
or
taxi; taxi could maybe better considering the luggage and the long flight).
You find at the bottom our full address with the name of the street in Rome
(Via A. Serranti 12), telephone number (dial 0635346442 in Italy; the
country code for Italy from abroad is 39), fax (0623313515 in Italy), email

Train: you can take the train from Fiumicino ’’Leonardo da Vinci’’ Airport
(from 8.00 a.m to 8.00 p.m.), the line is called ’’fm1’’, and go out at
Trastevere Station. Then take the train of the line called ’’fm3’’,
direction Cesano and/or Viterbo, and go out in Balduina Station. The total
cost is less than 5.00 euro. When you are out of Balduina Station you’ll see
on the left a Tobacco Shop and a Bar, a side street called Via R.R. Pereira,
and then a traffic light after ca. 20 meters. At the traffic light go left,
the name of the street is Via Ugo De Carolis, and go straight (the name of
the street changes in Via Balduina after 80-100 meters) till a square called
Piazza Madonna del Cenacolo (you’ll see a convent on the right going up and
a rouded median strip with trees in the middle of the square). Via Serranti
is the very short side street on the left going up, at the square called
Piazza Madonna del Cenacolo going from Piazza Madonna del Cenacolo to Via
Massimi where the Rome campus of Loyola University of Chicago is.
Our building is the first on the right side of the street, the entrance is
at the nr 12, after a Tobacco Shop and before a Bar, ring the bell where our
last name Foca is written on and you are arrived, we are in the penthouse
(4th floor by elevator) at the top, very easy!
Taxi: maybe better considering the luggage and the long flight, you can come
even by taxi/cab you can find out of the airport. Please take only a regular
one out of the airport, they are white with Taxi and a Code written in a
well visible way, and tell him to go directly up at the top of Via Balduina,
Balduina neighborhood; Via Serranti is a side street on the left going up,
at a square called Piazza Madonna del Cenacolo. Our building is the first,
the entrance after a Tobacco Shop, ring the bell where Foca is written on
and you are arrived we are in the penthouse (4th floor by elevator) at the
top, very easy! The cost of the taxi should be around 40.00 euro (ask for
confirmation before taking).
